The Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre is a convention and exhibition centre that is currently Australia's first and largest integrated convention, exhibition and entertainment centre. Created as a multi-purpose event space, the Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre will have more than 70 meeting rooms, three theatres and two formal ballrooms. It will be able to accommodate three completely independent, self-sufficient activities.
The Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre can be divided into 2,500 people, 1,000 people and 750 people according to the capacity of the meeting space. It will include a flexible space of 2,500 square meters (27,000 square feet) and the largest ballroom, capable of accommodating 2,000 people. The International Exhibition Center and Entertainment Center will include 33,000 square meters (360,000 square feet) of exhibition space, which can be divided into smaller space requirements.
The Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre is located in Sydney's Central Business District on Darling Harbour, Sydney. Located on the waterfront, close to Cook Bay and Tumbaron Park. Adjacent to Barangaroo, a new global financial services centre, as well as a media, technology and knowledge hub. It is particularly accessible and visitors can choose between walking and transportation options, including roads, light rail, trains and ferries.
